I’m Julie Merten, CEO of Chimeric Medical Communications. I work with pharmaceutical companies and medical communications agencies to develop scientific stories that capture the voice of the patient and are grounded in data.

My experience with hematologic malignancies is one that most writers simply don’t have. As a bone marrow transplant pharmacist, I spent 20 years working alongside hematologists and oncologists to provide direct patient care  before focusing solely on medical communications. This means I’m able to seamlessly weave the voice of the patient into meaningful content for healthcare providers.
